The Versilia sea, sun, art, style, but also music. Since the fifties the Versilia was the queen of the Italian summer. In the collective memory and remains as a symbol of vitality and energy of youth and music. Its beaches and its local songs and passing fashions that make the history of fashion and music in Italy. Arise on the seafront in those years where local singers will perform more or less known, but destined for great success. Just think of the compass Focette, thanks to its owner, Sergio Bernardini, brought in Versilia the biggest names in the history of international music: Mina, Renato Zero, Celentano, Ray Charles and many others. Then there's the Sixties and Seventies, those in which the most famous singers, actors and VIPs, both Italian and foreign, continue to popular beaches and local Versilia. In those years the Versilia is one of the capitals of the Italian tourist boom. And it is precisely in those years that developed the Chantant Café or Coffee Concert, a kind of show in which artists performed plays, numbers varied art (operettas, juggling, dance) and performed songs in places where whole families young people could attend and passionate performance by consuming beverages and foods. The coast of Versilia, with its sophistication and its splendid promenade, had an important role after spending the day quietly on the beach, families and young people loved to spend their evenings in pubs on the promenade, sipping a cool drink and relax rocked by the notes of the orchestras and artists. Over the years this kind of show has given way to the piano bar, the karaoke and the advent of technology has also allowed non-professionals to perform. The professionalism and quality of true artists, however, continue to dream the public, the same audience that even in the summer of 2009 saw the birth of the National Coffee Festival Concert-A Round in Blue, which will be repeated each year on the waterfront of Lido di Camaiore from June. The music, therefore, still lives in Versilia: notes sparkle on the waterfront, from Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Forte dei Marmi, and resonate in the premises of the coast, such as the Dock of Viareggio, where young bands and cover bands of light the evening involving the public, sometimes even improvising with a Jam Session. And it is these artists' music and live bands who will speak in the coming months, giving space to their passion. We therefore look next month with the first interview with a young but very talented and a lot of ambition!
